I began my real estate career in 1991 working as the "right hand" of one of the Outer Banks leading real estate firms, Bob DeGabrielle & Associates.

In 1998 when the company was sold and renamed to BD&A Realty & Construction, I received my Brokers License and became a partner.  My specialty involved managing and training a sales staff of about 50 agents.  I was also responsible for processing and maintaining all sales contracts from their inception to closing.  Annual sales volumes exceed a billion dollars per year.

In 2003 after many years as a Broker/Owner, I decided to sell my stock and spend some time with my family. After nearly a year with my son, I came back to work with Beach Realty & Construction as a full time Associate Broker for nearly three years.

I was honored in November of 2006 to be asked to join RE/MAX Ocean Realty, the Top Producing Real Estate Company on the Outer Banks. I moved to RE/MAX with long time friend and partner- Holly Henry-West, Broker, GRI and formed "The Dream Team."   I offer all my clients an extensive knowledge of the construction industry, with an emphasis on the Outer Banks Real Estate market. 

My background as Broker In-Charge gives me the knowledge and background to aid my clients in every step of the selling or buying process. After nearly 19 years in the business, my philosophy exemplifies a life dedicated to Real Estate by a true Professional. 

I am married to a wonderful local builder now for 19 years.  We reside in Kitty Hawk with our 9 year old son, 3 dogs and 4 cats.
